Award winning alterations

Strutt Design Studio is Tasmania's award winning alterationists. 

Located in Moonah, just outside of our capital city Hobart, we provide alteration services for everything from jean shortening to elaborate wedding dress alterations. 

We offer alteration services on garments purchased anywhere, not just those purchased in our store. 

For your everyday alterations like trouser shortening, new zips, replacing buttons etc. walk ins are welcomed. 

Our turnaround time depends on the season we are in, but generally we can have your garments fitted, altered and back to you withing a day or so. 

For alterations that may require more in-depth fittings, we do ask that you make an appointment so one of our trained dressmakers can be available to fit your garment to perfection and discuss modification possibilities.
