Lucy in Lark

Mr & Mrs Spotswood

On March 8th 2020, Lucy Sandford married her very dapper fiancé.

Lucy adorned a fresh flower crown in her hair, teamed with the veil she chose from Strutt Bridal.
An on trend veil style for Hobart brides, this single tier, raw edge, feather soft tulle on a flat comb, was the perfect choice to compliment Lucy’s hair style and floral headpiece.

Lucy came to us at Strutt to find her dream dress.
The process was relatively simple as she knew what she didn’t want.
After trying on a handful of gowns, Lucy was swooned by the shoulder detailIng on this Morilee gown, in the style named Lark.

The gown is a classic A-line, individualised by Lucy’s choice in the Ivory/Champagne colour choice which throws hints of blush, tying in perfectly with her now Husbands blazer, which was purchased along with the entirety of his outfit from Connor in Hobart.

I am sure you will agree with us that this young man has certainly raised the style stakes for Tasmanian Grooms!

Lucy’s bridesmaid also chose a Strutt Design frock, by the brand Jendi.
This dress isn’t a typical bridesmaid dress. How ever, the floral pattern and softness of the chiffon worked in seamlessly with the romantic vibe of the big day.

Lucy chose local suppliers for the key elements of their wedding.

Flowers - Hill Street in West Hobart

Mua - Scarlett Quamby MUA

Photographer - Sarah Ryan

Hair - Jade Spotswood

Groom - Connor

Bride - Strutt Bridal

Bridesmaid - Strutt Design Studio

Stay tuned for the next part of Lucy’s wedding, as we customised her Mother’s outfit as well.
